Soundtrack To the Struggle
This is the soundtrack to the struggle I hit the ground flat when I stumbled But found a way to bounce back from my troubles This is the soundtrack to the struggle Most days I'm too scared and paranoid to go out because of anxiety When I find the strength to leave the house, I get judged by society People will beat you down, call you names and put labels on your head Then have the nerve to act upset when you end up dead In a world full of hypocrites and hateful people I don't trust a soul They say they'll help you up and then cut the rope They'll laugh while you're down instead of giving you a hand up I let them laugh at my falls, because I always find a way to stand up Some ask why I have so many tattoos, I reply what does it matter to you? Then they have the nerve to ask me why I have such an attitude I tell them to mind their own business and take a drink To everyone who wrote me off, that ended up being a waste of ink To answer the tattoo question, I got all my self harm scars inked over Made a lot of mistakes because there's a lot of things I didn't think over I'll eventually move on from that girl I'm having a drink over But how are people who watched me drown and laughed going to say I always find a way to sink lower? Because I wear Hoodies and Fitted caps I deserve some kind of judgement well this tattooed, hoody wearing tattooed, bipolar weird man writes with substance So go ahead and judge because you don't know who I am You'll make your own judgement even though I show who I am This is the soundtrack to the struggle I hit the ground flat when I stumbled But found a way to bounce back from my troubles This is the soundtrack to the struggle
