The words that made you make you laugh or cry, sob, bellow or yawn, Or which sent shivers up my spine were rendered emotion-free. All phases made bland, devoid of feelings, and the power to twinkle, jink and jangle the soul, all gone and dusted. There was no escape, books were banned, poetry was outlawed as emotional twaddle and gobbledygook, All books were digitized, summarized, made succinct and sanitized by Google in '84. Poets met in secret behind closed doors to save rhythm, rhyme, meter and verse. After much debate in meetings quite late they hit upon an action plan.
