My Day of Hope
My reality and my dreams are out of sink What I have and what I want are two different things The struggle to balance my life is a every day battle Seem like it's hard to win a race or to catch a break I feel like only mistakes I can make I keep hearing tomorrow is another day and hope coming but all I can see is the same film playing each day ...my yesterday is my today ...no real change I can't seem to win, I just can't seem to catch a break ...the ray of hope are so few...praying days on my knees each on every day I pray to this unseen man who we call God and now I start wondering if he has a chosen few, I guess I am not one of them because no big house on the hill no BMW in my driveway no not even the man I love by my side ... all I do is pay bills...God happiness is all I want ...what ever that mean I keep trying each day just to catch a break I stop hoping for this better day I just keep moving forward ...just moving on I guess one day my break will come...maybe it's today...still thanking you Lord I don't have what I want but I still have life so there is still hope Until then I am struggling to win a race Struggling to belong here in this confusing place, hoping for my better day.
