It's My Life
It’s My Life to cry alone is what needs to be done but to laugh alone is not natural and a very lonely thing to do an not much fun I have never had anyone family or friends that I could ever talk with to share any sadness disappointments or heartaches I was married for twelve miserable years that was the loneliest time in my long life never ever wanted or sought out another wife to screw up my life I am now in the twilight of my years my health is wonderful great as can be I don’t know how many more years I still have remaining on this earth hope to make the best of the time I have left to search and find my worth traveling is what I look forward to visiting countries across the sea that would make me very happy meeting new people perhaps they would like to talk with me since I hardly talk with anyone and keep my thoughts all to myself I write down my thoughts best I can and read them back to me that’s called poetry for some unexplained reason that gives me comfort and I don’t feel so all alone I had a dog once raised him from a puppy he was my very best friend to the bitter end I could talk with him and I do believe he talked to me he understood my loneliness and kept me sane Bandit was his name if for some reason you should feel sad for me don’t I do not want or need your sympathy this is the life I chose it to be believe it or not just for the record I like me Dennis Davis March 25, 2017
