My Reverie Song
i rest upon sandy shores amidst a reverie, i feel the subtleness of pebbles along the coast of a tender sea- tides with transcending comfort in the breeze showers sympathy, with my tender soul at ease- for the trees embrace what i cannot see a lovely day with skies of blue, the dulcet moon wears his reflection; i sense you see the majesty too, feel the felicity of nature's affection- when the ebb flow of life shines through, i need your to flow... just ME and YOU so serene and clean, feathers floating down the stream- so natural, like a remembered dream; i count the clouds as they drift and gleam my lungs fill with the freshness of air, as i inhale a picture-perfect scene (a painting so rare) i share a ripple with a lily pad, green- pairing barren willows whispering, “feel me in the ambiance of tides, where the purity of nature abides” forever is not too long, and my love is not too strong- i needed your tune along... my beloved reverie song March 24, 2017
