What Happened
As the wind moves in wondrous ways; through the tree branches it blows and sways; Taking all the leaves and flies them so high; Then briefly let's go and they fall from the sky; Under those leaves I’m sitting there thinking; Remembering how we used to be, my heart starts sinking; Tears start falling as I think of you; Hoping that maybe you miss me too; Wishing that we were still close; But now you act like we are foes; What happened to the day when we said forever?; We promised we would always be friends together; Slowly, the memories are slipping away; I wish to laugh with you again someday; Will that bond that once held us close ever exist?; Being silly with you was something I couldn’t resist; Wanting back all the things that made me smile; Missing those moments that were so worthwhile; I pray for all those to disappear; And hope for those things when we were sincere...
