''surrender It''
"This soul of mine is in decay, my spirit fading away; this world of mine begins to crumble, and my pen to fumble." And in my meditation I seek my strength, going deep into a dream and distant realm; I see my life through my third eye, oh, the pain that dwells within my heart. And I drift in a clear sea of azure blue, until I hear bells tinkling from afar; an old wrinkled woman is beckoning me, she whispers- this is your destiny. "This soul of mine is in decay, my spirit is fading away; this world of mine begins to crumble, and my pen to fumble." I push the old woman back with my mind. NO! I do not want to just shrivel to ruin; then, I see a beautiful woman dancing, with multi-hued veils twirling, swirling. And I know she is me and it will be, I will find the strength inside of me; will put serenity on my lips- in my heart, will hold acceptance in my hands, then surrender it . . . ____________________ March 10, 2017 Poetry/Carpe Diem/''Surrender It'' Copyright Protected, ID 17- 883-427-0 All Rights Reserved.
