Never Meant Any Harm
Never Meant Any Harm I knew that there was a possibility that I would, but I never meant to hurt you with my words. I never meant any harm. I never meant to push you away, but somehow I did. I understand though, at least a little. Some hard feelings take a long time to break through, that is, if they ever are broken through. Plus you don’t even know me that well I am that I am, and I just want to be the best me that I can be. In doing that I want to help those around me with all that I have in me. I want to be there, But I keep getting pushed away, And that’s not something I can just brush off. I can act like I do, But that’s not something I can just brush off. I understand though, at least a little. My way of expressing myself is offensive to you, even though I try so hard not to be, There’s something about me that rubs you the wrong way, and I’m seeking God to help me fix it, that is, if it’s meant to be fixed. I just wanted you to understand how I felt Without holding it in like I always do, like I always do because of fear, fear of those feelings being rejected and tossed away for the garbage man to pick up on Wednesday afternoon.
