Teddy Bears Boat Trip
Teddy Bears Boat Trip The bears today have gone online To check their Bank Account It seems that now the book has sold They have a large amount. Deciding what to spend it on A very anguished choice. A car-a house-a plane- a ship Decision made—Rejoice. Off to the boatyard 5 did go With bucket loads of cash. To buy the biggest Yacht they could And boots with which to splash. Now Ted’s appointed captain The leader of the pack. Lisa does the cooking And rustles up a snack. They set sail with the rising tide A steady wind was blowing. South South West by North North East Who knows which way there’re going. Lionel gets a chart out And tries to plot a course. Be careful now the weather turns As wind increases force. Sou’westers worn, lifejackets on They battle with the waves. Batten down and shorten sail Let’s hope this Yacht behaves. Rupert says he’s feeling sick And throws up over rail. Goes below, down to his bunk Feeling very frail. Freddy hangs on for dear life And heaves hard on the wheel. The yacht now turns and comes about Conditions change, ideal. Out with rods and hats and shades Cruise back towards the beach,. Catch some fish which Lisa cooks And have a portion each. Tied up on a shallow mooring They all go for a swim. Rupert feeling better now On water ski’s does skim. A splendid day they all did have With money well invested. Go out again on Tuesday week Was what they all suggested. J D Healey
