Troubled Paradise
There is trouble in paradise; Living, breathing and hating in an upside down world. In this fractured fairytale made real, Evil triumphs and we now root for the villain. Good does not win and true love is the fabled lie; Darkness is now light, hatred now resides where love used to be welcome . Innocence tarnished; dreams banished; sameness celebrated, Marriages deteriorate; adultery is the norm, Narcissistic love bombs line the marital bed instead. Differences are mocked and then murdered in the open Robots are revered as humans become drones. No one knows which side they are on in an endless, pointless civil war Glued to a screen; satiated by a news feeding nothingness. Gore, avarice, greed, rule When you are living, breathing and hating in an upside down world.
