Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required The Lost Teddy Bears. What adventures will today Our Teddy Bears complete When they all go out to play At the park just down the street. Lisa has a picnic made With cakes and bread and cheese Water, Coke and Lemonade And lollies that they freeze. They make camp near a roundabout On mats they carried down As taught them by a boy scout they’d met one day in town. Off to find the magic cave Our Freddy took the lead They needed to be very brave And they were indeed They went into the diamond room And tried to fill their boots But feeling round now in the gloom Got tangled in some roots Rupert sent out for some help Got lost along the way But then he heard a guard dog yelp And sturdy policeman say “We need to make a thorough search 5 Bears they have been lost” We’ve looked about down by the church Our paths they may have crossed. Rupert shouted “Here we are” At the entrance to the hole. “We’re not in here so very far Thank goodness your patrol” With practiced ease our policeman found The little bears now frightened Perhaps if not been for his hound Their cries would not be quietened. At last now eating in their camp And feeling quiet dejected Eyes still crying, sore and damp Some safety rules neglected. If you’re planning to go out Then always tell someone This is to remove the doubt Of where the search begun. John Healey
