The Poem That Grows On You
The Poem That Grows On You :) I was in advance having a bit of fun Because I knew one of the comments would be: "It is the SUN" Sorry Daniel, it was not right Hope someone else will see the light! Tim's Santa has the strangest beard and hair grows out of his ears He lacks his hat, he looks quite weird Will be ridiculed by his peers No Santa, Tim, but nice you volunteered. Carol dragged a bushy smoking man Away from his cigar Thinking that my little niece Would leave that poor man in peace No Carol, he'll run off as fast as he can! Daniel roars a second time in Lion's costume, good try But Daniel you don't conquer this lion ;) So'll add more to this rhyme Try a third time, don't be shy? Heidi chose an animal Raggedy, rugged dog But his eyes are a little small He looks more like a hedgehog Oh! did I spoil the fun now? Not at all! Carol thought she was smart 'Happy face?', we that wasn't hard ;) Yes the thingy has a face But oh where do we place it? Is this animal, or person-art? Lynn made it a Dora band-aid With frayed edges and fringes and all Well Lynn, I am afraid No Dora, no band-aid, but hey Kid draws bad, but is still so small ;)
