Scarramac the Scarecrow
Long long time ago in the land called Wuzzybottom Lived a scarecrow who came to life at night He would run around the village waving his arms Giving cats and dogs an awful fright Until…….. one dark and dismal night A stranger came to town Now old scarramac the scarecrow Is used to being the celebrity in town He came running at the stranger Arms flying in the air The stranger didn’t move an inch As though he didn’t care. Aren’t you afraid of me said Scarramac No said the stranger, but you should be of me I am the scarecrow hunter called Jack Your days of scaring will soon cease to be Whattttt youuuu gonnna do withhh meee Scarramac said shivering with fright Gonna stick you in the field Where you must stay each night OR I will keep you ‘til bonfire night Use you for the guy I promise I promise said Sarramac in fright A good scarecrow I will be. This story goes to show you children, being naughty is not such a good idea. Hmmm .....Santa Claus watches you all daily. Penned 13 February 2017
