Never Again
A little girl stands feeling all alone Confused about which way to go Should've never let her Daddy's hand go Now she stands, crying out for help Shouting at the top of her lungs, angry with herself Desperate to get back home Back to the safety of her Father's arms She wipes away the tears from her face Realizing her huge mistake Letting go of her Daddy's hand that day Now she stands, looking all around… for her Daddy in the crowd People continue to pass her up No one stops to render help She is pushed all around Trampled to the ground Holding up her hands, she shouts… Should've never let my Daddy's hand go Now, I don't know which way to go Shouting out His name Crying out in pain Is anyone listening? Should've never let my Daddy's hand go Now, I don't know which way to go This way or that way Where my Daddy at? I need Him now She falls to the ground Tears pouring out Suddenly someone picks her up She starts to smile She knows that touch Familiar hands Her Daddy's hands Hands she will never let go of again
