Never Too Long
Tomorrow came and went so many times. Left me writing these broken hearted rhymes. Days to years, laughter to tears. Reflecting a lifetime in mirrors. When the heart keeps yesterday alive. There's no escape, no matter how far you drive. Because the world keeps turning and you just get dizzy. And you're beyond advice that you should get busy. I'm waiting for spiritual intervention. Something more than just this earthly convention. Because love requires a certain magic. That certain something that get's you sick. Honey, honey, I'm still here. I hear your voice in every tear. This ache inside won't leave me alone. You're the one true love my heart has known. When that day came when I awoke. Realizing that this was not a joke. Looking for a reason with tear filled eye's. Realizing that this love just never die's. Never, never, never, too long. Hope lives on and on and on. Over and over and until I'm gone. Something feels right that this feels wrong.
