The Key To Salvation and Salvations' Door
The Key to Salvation and Salvations’ Door I have been given a key to salvation It has the power to unlock every Good thing in my life I am looking for the door of salvation, But along the way are distractions and temptations. Their mission is to keep me far away from this door and destroy me in the process. Time ticks by and in my search I get lost, not knowing which way to go. Temptations and distractions block every good path. In my travels I fall off my wagon into this dreary box, a place where confusion, melancholy and hatred grows There were ways around the temptations and distractions, but I rejected the escape routes. In frustration I threw my key of salvation into the darkness, then had the audacity to wonder why it was so hard to find. After so long I grew exhausted, gave up searching for the key, and just started looking up for answers. When I looked back down there it was, my key to salvation And when I looked ahead there it was, salvations’ door. I stand before it now In the distance a force is trying to draw me back into the deepness of the dreary box But, ironically enough, it was the time spent there, searching, that prepared me to put the key into the keyhole, and turn…
