Winter Magic
Snow crystals floating in the air, Watch Mother Earth embrace her white. Stormy cold days seek sunshine fair. Starlight shines blessings with her might. Mother Earth has much in her care. Bears hibernate both day and night. Wolves with cubs snuggle in their lair. Deer lay in snow mounds feeling fright. Young girls with boys hold two hands tight. Winter’s moon calls innocence there. Wondering; does love make it right? Thinking of a kiss; do they dare? Of course, in winter’s coldest glare, Lying in iced snow can sure bite. Angels still show up everywhere. Children are snow angels’ delight. Grandma and Grandpa’s front porch chair. Rocks when winter magic take flight. Forever aging love sits there. And savors each wonderful sight – December 25, 2015
