His Tears
In a world where every other word spoken is destructive …. If it makes my heart sick with sorrow, How does it make God’s heart feel? Does it break? … As He hears all the filth And hatred spewed from the mouths That were created to give Him praises. His tears must flow like rivers Over all the wounded souls That this wickedness has touched. We believers, are blessed to know That forever He is with us, Forever we are watched over Even as we go through times of tribulation. He never leaves us, He is there by our side. Though God raises not His hand at this time Against our attacker, Satan, in God’s time he will pay For all the evil that he have spread threw our world. And we, who are faithful, will dance and rejoice In the victory we share with our King, For then He will stand forth, calling an end To this reign of terror. It is for this time that I live and wait for As I work toward keeping my eyes straight On Thee, Oh Lord, I long to keep my eyes on Thee.
