Curiosity of a Red Sky
Two elephants discussed the abnormal red of the sky And being curious wanted to know why The earth is on fire announced the elephant queen No said the friend it's the sun sinking below clouds with earth in between I thought it was humans playing with fireworks again Well it's some other holiday like the one with turkeys on a table But turkeys are not celebrating for they're dead and not able Could it be the one with rabbits in a basket I can't believe such a thing but I thought I'd ask it It's has to be the one honoring a long ago war Humans believe that's what holidays are for It all fits in don't you see? They kill the wildlife to celebrate a battle But they won't bother us because we're too big to handle We couldn't even fit on a hamburger bun And their grills are too small to cook us, not even one
