Fate
Fate Talking about fate and of course the irony But as we know between the two is a fine line But if it were possible to anticipate our destiny Why temp what comes to us all in good time? Is our fate not just governed by circumstance? Where you’re at where, you’re going or from Like if you meet your soul mate was it chance Perhaps coincidence you met that someone Though fate something that is never anticipated Thinking of the ifs and buts all the don’ts and does A picture in your head you paint but not expected Is it just then down to the path that we choose? Fate what could have been but the not knowing? Do we ever question the when’s, where’s or why’s Dose one ever contemplate where they are going Or is it best left down to the element of surprise? Written by myself David Scott august November 2016 Originally written 2012 original version still on soup though felt needed Tweaking reading as all over the place don’t know If makes sense any of this trying to give definition on subject fate In same pattern as poems waiting, home, space, time etc
