A Picture of Paradise
A swing, propelled by laughter and giggles, arcs into the air, reaching for the sky. And its rope chafes the bark of an old oak, as flashes of my youth go streaming by. Junipers create an emerald hedge that bestows tranquility to the scene. And reds, yellows, purples, and pinks abound, where clusters of wildflowers offset green. Wild roses, wafting in the undergrowth, dispense a fragrant scent that hangs around. And as lilac bushes sway in the breeze, violet petals confetti the ground. A pair of Mallard ducks scuttle away on a pond with a silver mirrored sheen. And barring a picture of paradise, this is the most beautiful place I've seen. As a scarlet sun bleeds, daylight departs, slowly retreating from Twilight's attack. And flowing, like a billion bleeding hearts, crimson rivers bloody the edge of black.
