I Knew Better
I was shown a clear vision of something's in which I wished I pay attention to; the first thoughts of my mind. I wished that I accepted the changes that were placed before me on that silver platter. Open invitation of temptation. The truth was I knew better. I allowed her childish words to play into my imagination. “Come to me, touch me, please don't leave”, Haunted me after the words played in my mind after desired time was spent. No precious fruit, a little bitter like her attitude. I over look and under thought what I knew about this woman. I should have ran without looking back. I questioned it so many times and came up with … I knew better My Thoughts of doing what you need to do and walk away. She said it best, I should have never fallen for those words she said to me, “Come to me”, with open legs and arms the temptation was strong I played the weak minded fool. I knew better when I continued to go back knowing that this wasn’t something special. Knowing it wasn’t love. She isn’t the woman that think she is. Though loneness will play a tone on your heart then you’re left with many broken strings, following regrets. So much time wasted when I could have found a mature love and not left with so many broken memories. Now it plays back; I realized that in the beginning I Knew Better.
