Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required When I write poetry, with my passion elated, lines flow in full spate, with words unabated! Inspiring my mind, an essential necessity oft results in a poem, that is pleasing to me! When I’m frustrated, know not what to write, thwarted, I ponder and fret, for much of the night! With vagaries encountered, frustrating my muse, then my pen does not write, to compose or amuse. When writing in haste, and an urge to compose, I’ll stay with rhymed verse, as I prefer it to prose. But when spelling is suspect, perhaps grammar too, retrospection’s a must, e’er I show it to you! Once at ease with the poem I have penned, possessed of a rhythm that scans to the end, then only then will I post it on this poetry site. In hopes my effort is regarded a worthy write! I aim for perfection with my every write; having little time for poetry, banal or trite! Having structure and grammar - traits I pursue, I’m hopeful they’ll please a reader or two. It is, and has always been my firm desire, that with my poems, I can light a fire that will set your thoughts into motion. It is towards this goal, that my devotion to poetry, has always been my first aim.
