The 44th and 45th President of United States and If You Had Said I'D Be a Poet
>The 44th and 45th Presidents of the United States of America. By Stanley Russell Harris The new mad author & Poetry Soup Honourably Mentioned In this, ‘our world,’ of doom and gloom. Two opposites sit in a room. Just a small gap between their chairs. At which now, the whole world stares. Taking on a job full of cares. So many people on them rely. For a good life before they die. I only hope the battle cry. Can be silenced, and no more lie, down in that final sleep. As world peace they try to keep. Try, always and never cease. As when you are at the top, that’s the place. The buck. Does. Stop. If you had said I’d be a poet. By Stanley Russell Harris the new mad author If you said I’d be a poet. Just five years ago. Want to know what I would answer? A definite, positive, no! Of course there are some that say. I have still a long way to go. To get people to know! I’m a kind of poet, you know. I’ve always using words twice. I really do you know. As that’s what that writing bug. Tells me to use you know! My pens are still writing. As their refill’s run dry. No longer does that upset me. No longer do I cry. Just because another pen. Has run blinking dry! I know not when this poem. Will actually be in print! I mean ten books of poems. You would think that writing bug was skint. Not skint as if no money. It leaves that, all to me. That’s why you’re reading this. For absolutely free! As that’s a word. I do love so. And upset I will be not. If only you would buy one of my books. Or buy the blinking lot.<
