A Cameo Beauty With Depth
A lovely young woman visits a wishing well each day at the same hour, she is a vision of a gossamer and ethereal fairy tale princess whose braided golden hair is her crown which makes her appear as if a cameo figurine. The smile on her face glows as she reminiscences about a love long gone, her prince charming who gave her his heart, promising a lifetime together and never departing, his dark and handsome looks were embedded within her mind, joyous scenes of holding hands, dancing among the vineyards and butterflies, taking walks along the freshly-swept cobbled streets, oblivious of the amused and passing villagers, her love for him ran deeper than the well, never shallow and continuously providing. Their days of joy came to an abrupt end when her love was called to fight a war on foreign soil, the day arrived as she waived her tear-stained hanky, he marched away which was their final goodbye, a heart-wrenching memory tearing her apart, at the well she wishes he would return so they could continue what was left behind. Their love was solid as the earth forever entombed within its catacombs having a much greater depth than any well.
