Love One Another
I swore I wouldn't tell you not a chance I would write I put away all those pictures kept them way out of sight Moonbeams were dancing at the base of my bed twisting and turning with every thought in my head A glimpse of God's glory arose at the break of dawn's light calling out to the bluebirds that things would be alright I swore I wouldn't tell you even if something was so wrong but I knew that you were whistling along to every note of their sweet song The sugar maples were changing from dark green to blushed red and I pictured you were smiling with soft lace covering your head Through the valley my eyes did venture bringing with thoughts held in my mind hoping that there were answers to the many questions I would find I swore that I wouldn't tell you what I was thinking about last night but on the wings of an angel it was written in plain sight "Love one another as I have loved you" So that is exactly what I'm going to do
