He Saves Me
HE SAVES ME The finish lines getting further away, I'm limping along, I wish I knew how to give up, At least life waits for it to get tough, before it gets tough, to prepare you for what's REALLY tough, I wanna scream out so loud, so I can drown out this never ending pain, I feel him watching me as I pull my blanket over my head, it's driving me insane, Under my blanket I try to be quiet, but the tears just started to pour, Please tell me he's not looking he went away, but I know he's sees it all and more, My sobs slow down, I feel embarressed, my best friend saw me cry like a baby, Then I feel the blanket embrace me softly, whatever it was I felt so much safety, He starts rubbing my back, asking if I'm ok, supporting my in a way no buddy ever had,  I wonder how can he still love me when i'm hurting like this, he says, you'll be ok DAD
