Tingling passion arose as you came close. Romance rolled as if not to get apart. Unfolding feeling you dared to propose. Earnest desire I felt in my heart. Territory of love was built in vain. '*. ; * • Days , months, passed, my mind started to burn. It seemed, I could neither forgive nor forget. Years passed, my mind turned hard and stern. Gradually life became smooth leaving no regret. To remain single I was decisive. without any grudge or complain to life. Girl attained maturity with outlook positive. Gone through troubles, hazards and strife. Suddenly you appeared to beg apology. Without any emotion, I could have promptly refused ‘ Forgotten all. Love and desire lost analogy.' But you prayed with ardent ardour making me amused, ' I remember everything, please forgive and be mine.' Dark night ended in delighted dawn: Grief and joy entwined. My heart melted and Morning Sun shone crimson. I forgave and got back my beloved on unison. 10/25/16 Edited on 06/30/22 Forgiveness First Place Contest by Anoucheka Gangabissoon
