Nobody Noticed
You saw her ever smiling face You just loved her laughter You were amazed by her caring soul You wished she was your child You wished your kids were like her Ever noticed how lonely she was? Do you remember the day you saw her sitting alone down the road? Ever wondered why she was sitting alone under that tree? What about the day you saw her sitting in that place of sleeping? Did you ever noticed her shattered soul? She was a "happy kid/soul" But deep down she was a broken soul She missed her parents To her, a medicine to wake the dead would have been great. She was a "happy kid/soul" But deep down she was empty She was a slave in her parent's house Having to do house chores was nothing to her, Her mother taught her well. But.. having her aunt's husband forcing his way inside her tiny body, takes the cake. She was a "happy kid/soul" But she was empty and hopeless That she thought suicide was her only hope. Someone should have noticed
