The sea that separates us by so many miles The sea that once brought us so many smiles. We used to sail the high seas together... Enjoyed it both in the lightning and the thunder. We'd sail around the islands so grand, Never caring if we ever again touched land. Until that fateful day, when I looked into your eyes.. As we both said our own silent goodbyes... Ten years ago you went to your watery grave, Every ounce of strength that day I gave, I tried my best to save you from your death, Now all I have today is great regret. We should not have tempted fate that morn, We should have stayed at home and watched the storm. Today, all I hear is the thunder from within me, As I think of you lying there under the sea.
