Poem About Me
I want to write a poem about me First and most importantly I'm a mother of three Although at times we may disagree My love for them I can guarantee And I will always give it for free Our love so strong it helps me write my poetry Pain and heartbreaks we've caused each other But at the end of the day I'm still proud to be their mother This kind of love I could not feel for another Over protected I'm sure they felt like they would smother They are all grown up now with lives of their own I feel my life purpose might be gone My job was to make sure they can stand on their own feet Watching them grow up was bittersweet Filled with pride that cant be beat Seeing the adults they've become what a treat A mother's love is above all and elite Then came grand babies oh how sweet Three grandchildren now making me complete Looking back over this poem about me You can see being a mother became my identity Any regrets with that there are not any.
