Softer Then Before
softer then before She saw, waited, then raised her arms. was it exasperation or in wonder of the thorn. Woe, my sight was from the distant covered window. Asking why, I remained hidden, with my guilt covering eye. Then she moved, as if watching something, I had not seen. Ah, the flowing motion, of a woman about to scream. Late winter shadows, grey with dark depth, columns speaking, of hidden breath. Mind wasting viewer, that thought of myself, I wanted to scream. Seeking Lady, she definitely had more spleen. Her steps were slower, softer then before. Her head raised, screaming beauty, this I could not ignore. Decision waving, window damp, should I seek her assistance, dressed as I am. The shadow of a tramp. But no, the coming of the other. the thief, I had neglected, she showed no fear. He came running, one arm raised, showing her something, which I could not appraise. Then they met, middle of the way, wrapping one another, arms gone array. She squeezing softly, so I saw, he the thief, enjoying it all.
