Self Damage
Every day I wonder if I will live. All throughout the day, At any moment. My life is always in danger. Never safe and sound as it should be. I constantly punish myself, day and night. I'll tell myself how the pain is what I deserve, For all the sorrow I've drowned others in. I begin to feel remorse, the same desperate feeling they were in. Their trembling voices as they begged for mercy. I used to think mercy was for the weak, Only the strong abolish mercy. I still cause myself destruction to this day. The same that everyone else has felt. I know this is what will kill me, Not revenge from those I hurt, Not those who are stronger and deadly. I am my own demise, Slowly killing myself with every cut, stab and scar. I am causing my own self-harm, My self-damage.
