Amok Time
"You need to get to Vulcan?" asked Kirk with some concern. "I'm afraid it can't be done until after we return." Looking at those smold'ring eyes, Kirk knew something was amiss. "Maybe if you will talk to me, we can improve on this." "It's not something I'll discuss with someone of your race. You only have to know my need and get me to that place." Retreating to his cabin, Christine brought plomeek soup. The bowl, it soon went flying; "Remove yourself, don't snoop!" Doctor McCoy then ventured in to see what he could do. "What's wrong, Spock?" he asked of him. "I have no need of you!" "Damn your curiosity; it's driving me insane. This is something personal; your snooping is my bane!" Fin'lly, at last, Spock did confess it was time for his pon farr. So off they went to Vulcan, which turns 'round a reddish star. When they arrived at Vulcan, things did not go as planned. T'Pring refused to marry Spock. She wanted other hand. So Kirk and Spock did battle with weapons primitive. A fierce and deadly conflict, to see which one would live. Then, when it concluded and it seemed that Spock had won, he became his former self; the pon farr, it was done.
