I Need To Know
Many say that everything I know, Numerous people say I truly am intelligent, But there is one thing I know nothing of—no, I've tried nearly everything, but find the answer, I just can't. I've tried investigating, even observing you I've even tried to shadily look up your background But, oh!—All this I already knew! Still, I keep searching—what is this I've found?! Could this—oh, could all this be true?! Could this be the answer to my long-pondered question? Could this be the day I see through you? Could you—of all people—actually have this emotion?! Is this why you always stand up for me? Is this why you attempt to protect me every now and then? Is this why, through me you can see? Is this why you help me repeatedly—again and again? And more importantly—could I feel this too? This all—this probably is my long-awaited explanation The very reason I love being around you, The very reason I, in the first place, began asking this question. Oh, is it possible—could you love me as I do you? Could you actually love me—do you even like me so? Oh, please, I pray—tell me—do you love me too? Could you actually?—Please answer, do you love me? I need to know.
