Hit and Run
Did you think about me at all? I know you heard my heart beat rapidly increasing in your arms I told you all of my secrets Yet you just hit and than left me did you think how this would affect me You whispered sweet nothings in my ear you made me believe that you wanted to be here and I couldn't help falling deeper Now since you've split I can't help feeling cheaper Like my gift got spent on something worthless you turned my world into your little circus I feel like the world is turning different colors and I'm about to get crushed underneath Did you think about me at all When you decided to leave? I really had hopes and dreams and things I wanted to achieve with someone who was willing to love me I thought that guy was you I thought my lonely days were through But you had a master plan all along and I just got played man I hate stupid love songs Why did it have to be me? The girl whose heart is always breaking The girl whose so fragile she could stay broken forever I really want to know Why this lesson had to be taught to me
