Haven'T You Forgotten Something
HAVEN'T YOU FORGOTTEN SOMETHING Haven't you forgotten something A voice spoke to me within my mind Was it being ferocious or being kind Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something Now to me in a more determined shout That definitely had itself more clout Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something Did I forget something in my own haste I stare into nothingness, my mind cased Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something Within the voice continued to persist What is it that I've so importantly missed Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something What comes to me as unknown faces And now to be entirely unknown places Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something Reminisce of memories I can no longer find Once beautifully articulated, now to it so blind Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something Staring into nothingness, nothingness in return As each and every memory disappears in its turn Haven't you forgotten something Haven't you forgotten something The unknown faces there helping me to remind Alzheimer's, how could you have been, so unkind Haven't you forgotten something Indiana Shaw . . . -_-
