Black Diamonds
In this cave, He sweats and waits, Till his watch reads, Half past eight, The darkness falls, The rocks show, A shimmering glaze, Whats hidden behind those walls? Certainly isn't a pearly gate, The howling of the animals, From a distance outside, As he's trapped behind, These mystical hives, As he's below the upper ground, Only time awaits, Before things become found, A mystery and beyond, Off in the distance, Does he keep moving forward? Or await for someone to find his existance, Lingering on, In the path that's ahead, Only to see two black sparkeling diamonds, Gazing down this stream, A pair of identical items to his eyes appear, Could it be a mirror of his conscious? Set in his despise, Thinking he should run, Only to just be mesmerized, By the beauty and sparkle, Set in his disguise, He sets on the path forward, Panting real hard, Taking a drink of fresh water, That's dripping from his guard, The water becoming louder, The sparkles getting closer, Is it a dream? Or is it my imagination? Squiting, Tightening of his eyes, Rubbing them, Only to find out to his surprise, Two black sparkeling diamons, As beautiful as could be, Beneath the earths surface, And who to be so lucky to find them but me, Light at the end of the tunnel, Fresh air blowing in, Even if things look suspiscious, It's not always the end, Walking out with beautiful black diamonds, The wealthiest he could be, Shares it with his companions, His wife, And children, As he has three, Moral of the story, Never give up hope, Given ones talent, It's never a joke, Keep pushing through, For a set of black diamonds, You will amaze yourself, And others, It can happen.....
