The book most influential to me is one that was divinely sent written by puritan Thomas Watson ‘the art of divine contentment’ It changed my mind completely overnight bringing an inward peace so unknown for before being filled with many fears never known contentment as heart of stone This was a real learning curve getting to grips with my inner heart receive God’s grace to powerfully effect just like a sharp piercing dart This contentment is a blessed thing holds one together in a settled calm makes me able to withdraw all so settled and firm with Gilead like balm Be content such important lesson fill the mind with this so true so thankful for this great book read it again soon this I must do (‘the most influential book upon me has been ‘the art of divine contentment’ by the puritan Thomas Watson so this is my thoughts upon its effect’)
