The Perfect Storm
I'm in this boat with you, don't think that I'm pointing you out As the Lord knows what's true, knowing each's grade of doubt Being in the Words He Said, every sentence Jesus ever spoke Of the Living and the dead, all those people who never awoke So here as we sail along and knowing the boat's going to sink I know you're not that strong as it's a lot worse than you think A sea so vast and wide your chances are slim and far between Like that weight of pride in not accepting these words I mean As off in the distance a storm, a little worse than you thought This world is not the norm but the sum of what man wrought You will certainly sink alone so inconsequential would you be For without His Light Being Shone you will be unable to see So as we continue to row I mention the most important fact In just trying to show that Jesus died for all that you lacked Only He can comfort you all the rest that will cease to exist And if you think it isn't true, ask Him as He is in your midst Isaiah 28:2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. Job 21:18 They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.
