I'd say to this Knight I'm working on it He'd reply You know I'm a Yes or No man And I'd reply back Yes I know But I have my own way of answering Saying it ever so sweetly His eyes light and he chuckles as he rides away A task at hand forming in his mind to bestow on me For another day I didn't realize it Until after he rode into the sunset That these tasks he bestowed on me Were for my own benefit To work on me To become strong and free No longer needing My Knight in shining armour That all I needed was me
