Sounds of Sadness Brink of Madness
She could leave at any time. She really could. She didn't know her own reasons for staying. Called herself a coward, told herself she was just like everyone else. She wasn't broken enough for tape nor was she together enough for tea. She was in the middle. The doll, average, painful, middle. she wasn't special yet wasn't normal. *thump* Her fists against the mirror. She could break it, she really could. But she couldn’t try, couldn’t bring herself to change.  what was she? The only one capable of answering had no answer. She was the master of her own fate but was a bad Master, a bad leader. *drip* a tear she could stop crying, she really could. But she didn't know if she needed to. Perhaps this was one of those epiphanic moment they have in the movie, right before they realize who they are. *shake* her head She could just let herself go mad, she really could. But would she? She had to stop thinking her life would go cinematically. Madness was an emergency exit, a door that was barred. All she had was a mirror. The toil of expectancy marks the last thread of sanity. She expected an adventure, she got dull pain. *ring* the doorbell she could ignore it, she really could. But that's not what she does. She's known as kind, friendly, normal. She couldn't just reject the door. *creak* the door She could take this, she really could. Put on that smile no one knows his a mask. “ congratulations Miss, negative results. What a lovely doorbell!” “thank you. I hoped opportunity would use it, considering it never seems to knock.” *click* the light
