Mirror Talk
Mirror Talk Rolling over, out the bed Getting up I walk over by the mirror And take a look When i glance i see a reflection No where near perfection Just a person a woman Who is worthy At her worthless moments She has what She needs to succeed She needs to own it No longer Shall you look back But forward on this earth Created new Sounds like rebirth Her hair is a different texture No need for another lecture Her size goes up, sometimes down Either way still wear your crown Do not frown, just smile You are heaven sent child For miles you've walked down a hill And climbed right back up You are as sharp,as the clock that struck You are blessed, never had luck You're the hand that's been shook You're the reason that people look With you no one can be compared You are still apart of the lessons that's been shared Walk keep your head held high Feel in the blank with this beautiful chalk Love your reflection , the mirror has talked Written by :Concetta Hardnett 5/30/2016
