A Dozen White Roses and Ruby Stained Teardrops.
A Dozen White Roses and Ruby Stained Teardrops. He came with the soft, soft winds of spring. Bearing blossoming white roses bewitching my soul, as he courted. Sweet words, loving embraces. Many a promise and some declarations. Friday night came. Work over, now our time. Happily, he is there. A dozen white roses spring forth with wine, a smile and heart melting kisses. We had an unforgettable candlelight, lounge room picnic dinner. His sincere kind offering ripened, into a weekly celebration. I could say I love you, rest assure I do. Though I crave to devote more. That little something so special and forever memorable. My beloved perceive this , A night missing you under tormenting, emotional times. Brush went to paper, on easel. My heart crying loudly, through the brush A lonely white rose stained the nothingness below, as it cried ruby blushed tears and came to life. Somehow, it did comfort me. Together again now, oh if I could tell of the closeness and love, but it is perfectly indescribable. My world, of two hearts combining. So I reach out quietly each night to the silence. Dreaming away the ruby brash tears, with prayers you will always come bearing, those dozen white roses.
