Will You Please Just Try
I won’t, I won’t, no, I will not, not cry! God, I can feel You, will You please just try To get my Mom and Dad to remember The Golden Rule right now, both together? They started a loud fuss when we ate lunch. I ran here, God, ‘cause it hurt me a bunch. I gave Your six ducks my sandwich to keep. Could I become a duck by sinking real deep? God, I’m still too small for most adult things, But, I know they are wearing their love rings – Put them on in our car when we drove here. I saw Dad kiss Mom underneath her ear! This morning, we all laughed silly ‘bout germs ‘Cause Dad got Mom to touch the fishing worms. You saw that, God – here on this same duck dock, Where they smiled and bubbled the lake with rocks. Two days ago, we drove here wanting fun. When we saw our cabin, I had to run! We hiked, swam and cooked dirty marshmellow sticks. My Daddy took many keep for always pics. We we’re suppose to hike to a fairground, But I’m alone, and hope You are around. Just me, bright sun, blue, green, then blue again. I pray You do Your thing. Your friend. Amen.
