I Love You
I slapped him across the face He stayed, he just faced I accused him for what he hadn't done I thought he'd abuse me but he took that as fun.. Shame was painted on his face Not that he was wrong He was just a bit too much aware It was his fault I was no more strong.. His betrayal got me blind His smile was still enshrined I always thought of him to be mine I missed the times when I was first in line! If I walk down the memory lane I'll laugh crazy, forget all my pain! He was the beginning, the end He was all from a soul mate to a best friend I put my soul trust into him I let my problems rest into him Back then, we were just 'us' Now, Veronica and Jake, what a fuss! I still remember the tree It has the hearts we craved And the little flower lily It still has so much love on it we engraved! I dreamt about the promise we made Long ago when we were 'us' No secrets, no grades Only the two of us... I feel the difference from then and now It comes crashing like an arrow I don't want blood, no bone marrow I want him back, I don't know how! He gave me lessons We trained together We were the sour lemons But changed our taste with the weather... We danced in the middle of the road Caused a scene on ship's board We stuck gums on chairs We messed up everywhere! Boy! I miss his smile It made my day worth a while I miss the last goodbye I miss my last cry.... I want his warmth so bad! I wish he loves me back Wait...Does he even think about me? Being so unsure about him hurts Every poke now blurts.... It was my mistake I let him go Who am I kidding? I gave it the flow! I am woken up from my messy dream Of my longing to see him once again My mess-of-best friends scream outside As if they have to board a train? The girls nudged me in And I can feel the boys grin "Are you hiding something?" I snapped "If you want that face of yours, let me know asap!" They made way for someone I could do nothing but pout I rested my head by the door Just as an attempt to find out... "Who's there?" I yelled A man jumped in Great abs, good height! The same blue eyes? The same grin? Pinch me! That was Jake I saw him after years! I pounced on him with all my might So he wont disappear or get out of my sight... "I have missed you! I am sorry.." I cried I heard it when he heavy-sighed "Say something!" I addressed "I love you!" He silently confessed...
