Does the Heart Know What It Want
My heart knows what it wants, and its You, But the wires just keep getting crossed, These mirages are just to deceiving In retrospect I wasn’t the best coward, I didn’t have the strength to conquer the fear that gripped me so hard, Rewind back to when I was solo, I always know that somewhere was missing, I guess it was you, it was always you, no one else, You know you got my heart racing to the speed of light, To infinity and beyond, You got my heart on lock down, the doors half-way open, But the light creeping, couldn’t shed some light on anything much, I can’t read the signs, but these markings are so real and misleading, The words can’t seem to form anything inside my vacant heart, These memories we made are engaged in coitus Underneath these blanketed lies of truths, Call it seasonal affective disorder, I just don’t know how to comprehend this, But I just can’t make up my mind, Should I let you go? Should I let you stay? I can’t seem to fathom this, Why you wouldn’t let me in, is an enigma in itself, Cant you just make me yours, breath some life into this soulless heart? Can’t you just open your eyes and hear the blinding truth? Can’t you hear my hearts call? Geniuskin
