Zack Vol 6 Page 7
The Doc's hand in his pocket Drew out slow, a hidden gun and I had to put my hands up with no time to draw, or run As he said "you're gonna dig not just one grave, but let's say two, and I'll say you just left town no one hear will have a clue" Then he threw a shovel towards me and it landed at my feet He said "Hurry up and dig and it need not be to neat" I wasn't sure to ask why this sudden change of mind 'Cause somewhere in my diggin' there's an answer I might find I must have dug at least three feet that's when I hit some rock and something in that makeshift grave made me look up at Doc Still, with gun in hand But consumed by greed and lust He jumped down from the wagon In a cloud of moon lit dust He walked his way with caution as he glanced down in the ditch "I guess you know by now, That we mustn't have a snitch" The gun he held so firmly Was now just inches from my head and I knew that any minute I was the next one to be dead to be continued
