Imperfect But Getting By Okay
Seconds, hours, so many days Stagnant space forms an outline misguided and imperfect but nothing is perfect A painting so beautiful to bring tears treasured among hundreds it only takes an embarrassing scratch to put it to shambles A letter constructed to the key touching to the heart but all it takes for it to be under-appreciated is a simple flaw of a slow hand The world is imperfect no more needs to be said You can't perfect the world if you refuse to better yourself We can't change the world if we can't change ourselves for the better We let our pasts get in the way look at the person on the podium the prime example Look at us today we're not perfect but we're still getting by okay We're united, at least for once We're united Lets not allow anything to dictate the stagnant outline from changing into a dividing line We've come too far to revert back We're way too strong now to fall now
