Embrace the Line
You swallowed a drug, you inhaled a drug, You injected a drug to get high. And within about an hour or so You were convinced that you could fly. At first you sat upon the floor, You mumbled your legs were pure steel. Steel that had been wielded straight to the floor, Steel legs you couldn’t feel. Then you conversed with the household plant, And the small naked sexy statue. While you did this you began to sway, Saying the walls were breathing and swaying with you. Finally you turned a shade of calm As you smiled to the balcony of this high rise. The last I saw your beautiful life, You were standing, gazing towards the skies. You swallowed a drug, you inhaled a drug, You injected a drug to get high. And within about an hour or so You were convinced you couldn’t die.
